Since the DroidDoes advertisement came out, there have been spoofs popping up on Youtube in retaliation. The ads are made by iPhone users who respond to the Droid ad in the same fashion as the original commercial by saying "iDont Care" and "iDont buy brands who bash other brands." I think that this battle of the phones is definitely interesting. Either it was a brilliant marketing effort by Verizon to really increase viral marketing by predicting such an outlash or an effort that will end up backfiring once the phone actually comes out.
What bothers me about iPhones fans is that they say "iDon't buy brands who bash other brands" yet the majority of the marketing efforts for their macbooks rely on comparing their computers to PCs and, in turn, end up bashing them somehow.
I thought the line "iDon't buy brands who bash other brands" was interesting as well. All of the Mac commercials are mocking PCs, making the PC look completely inferior.
