Verizon confirms Droid tethering option, hefty price tag

We will see when the droid can do tethering and we will see what happens in 2010, but anyone who says Verizon is better than AT&T should take this into account before they talk next time. in my opinon, AT&T and Verizon are the same, same prices, same service but I believe AT&T has the iPhone is better. I like how AT&T operate because they don't mangle their phones, make users do certain things and have good features on the phone.

AT&T segment their plans in the same way as Verizon. If someone wants to purchase an iPhone they also have to pay for data plans and for web related features just like you do for Verizon. As for the tethering service, it is not offered by AT&T, thus has no comparison as of yet. When it comes to the 3G network in general Verizon has a better network with more coverage. They are different phones but on a technical spec perspective the Droid is more powerful than the iPhone. Droid also has the power of google behind it and all that they stand for, including open development. In the end they are both good phones and good providers. It's all personal preference.
