I just did it myself, and my viral loop value is $194.00. I am not sure the influence I have on other people through facebook, but I like to think every person you come across, you influence in some way or another. Is that starting to go online?

This application is awesome, especially for small businesses, to help them grow larger, get more traffic to their site, and figure out consumer needs and wants. This will definitely be a huge benefit for any business to have, and best of all, right now, it's free!

I think that this application has some great advantages, and could provide a great idea of an individuals influence.

The only concern that I have though is that when I did run the application, it gave me an option to "add value" by inviting friends to use the app too. This then increased my value. So I think that it's important to take that into consideration before basing any important business decisions upon the information that this app provides.

I'd really like to know how, exactly, they calculate this.
Funny side note: According to a previous class in which we looked at this app, "God" has a lesser value than, say, a politician or a pop star. Amusing fact #37.

I didn't know about this application. I have just tried it for the first time and it gives me a value of $153.60. In spite to see if it changed, I deleted the application and reset it, the value it gave me was the same. so at least I know its calculations are the same every time.

In spite of trying to answer Jamie's question on how is it calculated. I found this in the application's information but I'm still not exactly sure on how it is calculated but this might help for the meantime.

"Your Viral Loop Value uses an algorithm that takes into account Facebook's estimated valuation with your level of activity, the number and activity level of your friends, and your "influence."

as you can see this value should not be fully trusted. The "influence" part can easily show us how some parts are calculated subjectively causing some inaccurate results.
