K-Mart not sure of the entire idea behind discounts...

Posted by Alex Tanzilli

K-Mart committed a mortal sin recently: ticking off their customers. They had posted a coupon on their website that touted $10.00 off of the customer's next $20.00 purchase but forgot one crucial element: proper restrictions. The coupon was originally only meant for a certain number of stores, but putting something on the internet is probably the surest way to get a message out, loud and fast. Apparently K-Mart was trying to get themselves back out there in the market by sending these special coupons to large metropolitan areas, but didn't mention any restriction and probably had a bit of a negative effect in the long run.
