Facebook to Create Web-Wide 'Like' Button

Posted by Anonymous

On Wednesday, April 21st Facebook should be announcing plans to implement a web-wide "Like" button. As most Facebooker's know, there is an option to "Like" every post, picture or comment they see on Facebook. Now, Facebook is looking to expand this opportunity using a strategy similar to the "Share" button already located on many websites.

This new feature will allow other web publishers to use that info to customize your web experience on their site.

That's a good idea, now Facebook pages can become more communal and dynamic. It's nice that we can finally integrate the two together. It'll give a very tailored experience to the user, but it is kind of creepy how much everyone knows about everyone else.

Facebook is coming up with new ideas al the time to continue their growth, it is amazing what they have done with the social media world. This is just another example of how they are expanding all over the web.

In addition this is helping to unite the web. And Facebook is becoming the center of it. This is a great model for FB to follow, if they can do this they are going to be present for FB users all the time!
