Kevin Rose, the founder of Digg, has just written an article that details 10 ways in which the average website owner can massively increase the amount of people that visit their website. Kevin Rose is a highly successful internet entrepreneur as is shown by his biggest website, Digg. Digg is currently ranked as the 45th most visited website in the US by Alexa.com. As of May 2008, Digg was valued at $200 million by Google and that value has only increased.

I liked the article in general, but at the same time I really wish he would talk more about the things that the beginner can do to increase traffic to his or her website. In the article's list of ten things it says certain things such as have a team of advisers, which in most cases only someone who has a larger business can afford, as well as throwing quarterly and yearly parties to promote yourself. This makes me believe that these people already have a decent amount of traffic but are interested in increasing it tenfold. What about small businesses who really do only have one visitor to their website?
