Facebook using MySpace video sharing?

I saw this article and thought it was really intriguing. Facebook announced that they are partnering with Myspace so that users can share content from MySpace on Facebook. I think that this is a good move on Facebooks part, but I still think that MySpace is a dieing social medium. Facebook, which was working on a video and music sharing feature anyway, will benefit the most from this partnership, but this partnership may prolong MySpace's life expectancy. This is definitely a smart move on both parts, but it makes me wonder if there is going to be a total merger in the future.
