An Increase in Social Media Malware  

It is no surprise that an increase in social media will undoubtedly result in an increase in malicious software. One scam involves users receiving email updates from a fake Facebook. The fake has them logging into their website, and then prompting them to download an "update" hidden as a password stealing virus. Microsoft did a study that indicated that social media users are more likely to get scammed by malware. More information on the link.
