Some of the Biggest Names in Social Media Set to Visit Rochester

On Wednesday, November 11, 2009, some of the biggest names in social media will be in Rochester for the Social Media Today (SM2Day) conference. This conference is the first conference of its kind to be held in Upstate New York. The eight hour conference is packed with big name speakers, including Chris Brogan, A ten year veteran of using social media and both web and mobile technologies to build digital relationships for businesses, organizations, and individuals, Jeffrey Hayzlett (Chief Marketing Officer & VP for Eastman Kodak Company), Kevin Flynn and Ray Martino (both of Martino Flynn, Rochester's full service advertising, PR and digital media agency).
I'm sure this would be a very interesting conference to attend, though for a college student it would probably be difficult to attend being on a Wednesday and the cost, but I thought I would share it anyways. It's interesting to see the conference come here and if it is successful I'm sure that it will be back at some point.
