Email marketing is one of the fasting changing areas of Internet marketing and it's hard to keep up. Not everyone can, but they don't necessarily need to. To see the future of e-mail marketing, marketers must look to social networking. Not everyone has a Facebook and Twitter account, but nearly everyone has an email address. The point being, social networks need email and conversely, because social networking is the present and future, emailing needs to become more social.
