Google Wave Released for Testing

Posted by Mark

Google's new tool, Google wave was released today for widespread testing. Google Wave is Google's effort to combine e-mail, instant messaging, a variety of social networks, and to bring the work place together in real time. The interesting thing about these is that you can only be invited to test the service either by Google itself or another user. The invites are so hot right now that someone has posted an invite to test Google Wave on E-Bay and as of right now, the invite has 31 bids and is at $157.50

Hey Mark, Can you explain with Google Wave is a little more. I was tempted to watch the video on that link for more information, but it was an hour and a half long...so I opted not to do that, haha.

I understand it is going to be an open source collaborative Google program. Will it still be free? And how will it collaborate? I am somewhat confused by its purpose.
