I thought this site was interesting, so i found this article as well. And we had just recently spoken about search engines in class. It is explaining how now a days it isnt becoming so much about the search engine itself, but rather the searching on social media sites that is becoming popular. This also makes the experience more personalized for a consumer because they are already specifically looking for what they want.

Bing now captures 10% of the Search Engine Market

Bing is growing! While Google still controls over 60% of the search engine market, bing is slowly capturing back some of the marketshare it lost over the years with live.com . Bing is Microsoft's new replacement for the live.com portal.

I am left wondering if it is merely a result of the bing.com cashback deals that Microsoft has been doling out over the last several months. Any other factors that could explain this rise?
