Facebook Users Protest Hompage Changes

Just tonight an article was posted in regard to the new facebook homepage changes-- and people are not happy with these updates! Already, a "Change Facebook Back to Normal" on facebook's website has over a million members. In class today, I remember Professor Murthy mentioning that there were new updates to the news feed and homepage that were just initiated. Well, in such a short period of time, it is already being protested.

I think it is most interesting that facebook users are able to successfully use facebook itself to protest these changes. What an influence social media can have!

I think that this is a great thing that people can actually see the results after simply joining a group or posting a blog. It really proves how powerful social media can be when used in the right way. creating a group on the biggest social network in order to protest that very networks changes is a big deal, and to have it actually yield results in favor of the user is incredible.
