For a long time it seems as though Google has merely recreated the internet world - and electronic world for that matter - as everyone graciously accepted their innovate ideas. It was only a matter of time till they became to big and to successful to not be able to please everyone, and eventually run into a debacle like they have here. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and how Google responds in a business manner and on a PR level. We'll just have to wait and see.

It seems like everyone and their mother is starting a Facebook fan page, and a Twitter following page. Does it really return results? Do you think the social media marketing ability will be saturated purely by the number of companies trying to do it? I know I have stopped accepting Fan requests, and don't even touch Twitter.
