Music on the Internet

The Internet has made many everyday tasks easier, and has even allowed music to be shared widely, for little to no cost. How does this affect radio, or more specifically Internet radio? In recent years studies have shown that media consumers are moving away from traditional radio broadcasts because the lack of choice. Searching and downloading music have become the new popular trend of today, which has really created some big issues for listenership. Is this the death of Internet radio; the answer is still yet to be seen, but one threat is the competitor of satellite radio. This competitor has managed to get around some of the royalties that are encountered by Internet radio.
