An iPhone Keyboard?

Called the iType, the iPhone will be able to be placed on the keyboard, and you will be able to type on a computer-like keyboard.  Seems useless, right?? I mean, AT&T could just make an iPhone with a keyboard attached if that was the real issue.  The article claims that it will be aimed for those who are heavy Facebook and Twitter users who like to type out more than what SMS messages allow. 

Do you think that people will buy it? It is expected to come out early 2010 and will retail for around $100? Will college students use this to replace laptops in the classroom?

Opps! I did not realize that I posted the same article you did! However, I think this is interesting. It makes me wonder if it will even be successful, or if it will create a boomerang effect and hit them in the face. The reason I think it will go back to haunt the iPhone because I know the reason quite a few people do not have the iPhone is due to the keyboard, and this could leave customers saying, well, what's the point of this iType when they could have just attached the keyboard to the phone like the Google 1 phone.
